Performance agreements

Performance agreements between the Municipality of West Maas and Waal, De Kernen Housing Association and De Kernen Residents' Council for the future. In recent years, Woonstichting De Kernen, Residents' Council De Kernen and the municipality of West Maas en Waal have focused on good cooperation based on the annual performance agreements. House seekers from the social target group must be able to find a home within a reasonable time.

Working together on a number of priorities For 2021, the three parties are focusing on a number of priorities in the interest of public housing in the municipality. These are core plans per village, the quality of the homes and the numbers, sustainability, debt assistance, housing opportunities for regular home seekers and housing for special target groups. In addition to the priorities, the parties continue to work closely with each other on a variety of topics. Many earlier agreements will continue as usual. Alderman Ans Mol: “I am proud that we have made concrete agreements with De Kernen and the Residents Council. We are joining forces to tackle the joint challenge in the social rental sector ”.

Full-fledged discussion partner Mariet van den Broeck of the Residents' Council De Kernen: “It is very important to good cooperation that feasibility is considered in all reasonableness. We generally get along well. Where there are other opinions, we weigh up pros and cons. The most valuable thing is that the Residents' Council is seen as a fully-fledged discussion partner in these consultations. ”

Good cooperation Marinus Kempe, director-administrator De Kernen: “The added value of the performance agreements lies in looking together at the needs of the villages. Which tasks do we see? Which homes are needed and for whom? We are looking closely at how we can jointly keep the villages liveable in various areas. All parties have that interest. ”
